I want the guy to succeed too, and I think he could have a nice role on short yardage or even as a 3rd down blocking back who can also catch a pass.

John Riggins was 6' 2" 230 and was the state champion in the 100 yard dash. Steele ran a 4.75 forty.

Yeah, I honestly think had Jason Street not gotten injured, Tim Riggins might be the standard by which all Riggins are judged going forward.

We have GOT to get this lion-maned beast some looks against the Ravens. He's going to be on Angry Runs every damn week at this rate. Might be my favorite story of preseason. I freaking LOVE watching this dude run the rock. He stiff-armed that poor DB right through the center of the earth.

Gotta confess, Carson Steele being my favorite player of the entire NFL preseason was not on my bingo card.

I jumped on the bandwagon as soon as I read his name. Figured with a name like that, he's going to be a great player. Or a pornstar.

Lol, usually if I gravitate towards a camp guy, they fail miserably. Guess I finally got lucky.

The duo of Pacheco and Steele out of the shotgun is going to be very fun to watch. Especially with how much attention the tight ends and wideouts are going to demand.

Lots of open air/grass to work in. Facing smaller players to break open big plays.

The guy doesn't have the long speed but his acceleration reminds me of LJ.

He has what all good backs do…he accelerates into the hole and is decisive. He also has good vision and is a dependable blocker in pass pro.

Alston Lite is going to get a lot of play this year trying to keep Pacheco fresh.

He really does remind me of Kareem Hunt in the open field.
