Ward is not as good as Breeland. Ward has never made a play like Breeland did against Edelman. Ward is not in his class yet. Remember he got burnt in the playoffs with a blown coverage.

You'll probably also need to cut Eric Fisher, Hitchens, and Okafor.
Extend Kelce and Mathieu. You're looking, right now, at having 8 draft picks in the 2021, with our 6 normal picks (subtracting the 6th we traded away) and a compensatory 4th and 5th. Maybe a couple middle-tier free agents, but most likely going to be a similar small-sized free agency class. And that'll be your team. But that's a challenge. Because you're going to have big holes at WR, DE, DT, LB, and maybe CB. |
