Lamar Jackson

I was pretty skeptical about him but he is legit. If the Ravens keep the D up as they always do I can see many battles in the playoffs against them for awhile.

Chiefs fans have become Pats fans when it comes to their QB. Never thought I'd see the day. At least Brady won a SB before they started being obnoxious. Write off every QB in existence because it's not theirs. Become irate when any QB is compared to theirs. Thought CP had more sense than this.

As we’ve seen, pat gets hit hard, a lot, as a passer with shitty protection.

I noticed that too, but the system puts the qb in harms way far more than say a West coast offense. It will take its toll, and even the non-contact “safe” runs to the sideline end awkwardly often enough as a NFL fan I worry about LJ’s ability to stay healthy. I strongly believe this system is unsustainable at the NFL level simply due to player health.

I tend to agree. I haven't played either position, but I would think playing CB is a little more complicated than playing running back.

Good grief the hyperbole is over the top today on sports radio. They keep calling Lamar the new prototype cutting edge QB revolutionizing the sport.

We have seen this shit before people.

I think this is why Andy has changed the approach, and we’ve seen a less risky game plan. Andy knew his QB can’t keep getting hit like he did the first few weeks. It’s hurt production a hair, but will keep Patrick on the field. As he settles in the production will return. Watch for it this week.

They said the same about Cam Newton, Kape, Vick, and Cunningham.

Mahomes has missed 2 games and will still end up with better passing stats.

Now you know how fans of the other 31 teams felt about Mahomes last year.

“We’ve never this before!” is a stupid shallow phrase thrown around way too often, even for Mahomes. Yes the no-look was genuinely the first we’ve seen, but they got caught on to it for damn near every pass the kid threw.

Sorry but a lot of shit Mahomes has done we have seen before from Brett Favre. Same thing for Lamar. Vick looked exactly like Lamar did now when he played in a offense friendly system with Andy just as Lamar is now.
