Downtown KC Hotel Recommendations?

Looking at several different spots downtown. Over the years, I've stayed just about everywhere in KC, but I'm wondering if anyone has a couple of good recommendations. Thanks everyone!

You should experience the room service, they serve everything on Chiefs paper plates and napkins with a "Chiefs fans only" door tag and complimentary bobbleheads, served by internet blowhards with massive eggshell egos..... you'll feel like you're attending a 12 year old's birthday party hosted by the personification of a midlife crisis, it's so damn sophisticated. And then after being talked down to for a little while, you receive a $50 Amazon card as an added flex gift.

You leave feeling pampered, refreshed, and confused. It's amazing.

Looks sweet. Seems you'd have to dress the part as well. Pirate room or Jail Cell room.

Do hookers go along with roleplay?

I mean, I get it... nothing classier than paying $250/night to stare at 80s furniture and casino carpet in a Marriott room no larger than a dorm.

And you get so thoroughly raped being gouged for everything from parking to bottled water to internet service, bring one whore along with you and it's practically a threesome.

So nobody has any thoughts on the Crowne? Between me and my buddy, we could get a great deal on the place, but it just looks a tad dated, though they do have a restaurant and bar. The $25/day parking is kinda dumb, but whatever…

The Loew’s does look nice. I’d imagine that would be the place if we brought our significant others.

I’m probably overthinking things.

Yes. You are overthinking things. It's a hotel. If it's not a flea bag motel or chain bottom of the barrel joint, you'll be fine.

Stayed at the President this weekend. I have some personal history with the old President hotel, but honestly I was not impressed. History and a fully restored lobby was not worth it.

Last time we went to a game we stayed at the 21c hotel museum. It didn't seem to be that far away from the stadium and it was decently priced for a nice room.
