Downtown KC Hotel Recommendations?
 

Looking at several different spots downtown. Over the years, I've stayed just about everywhere in KC, but I'm wondering if anyone has a couple of good recommendations. Thanks everyone!

The Sheraton is nice. Met some really friendly people last time I was in that area.

Took the wife to the Loews for a Valentine’s weekend and was pleased.

The Budget Inn

Hotel Indigo - we just stayed there a couple of weekends ago. Great spot in the Crossroads area

I like the Fontaine.

Is the Crowne Plaza worth it?

We enjoyed The Loews.

Loews downtown. For sure.

Each to their own but both of those to me look ghastly and tacky. If I'm staying in a hotel I want a nice, historic facade and reception/lounge/bar area with a modern, comfortable room.
