Did you catch a soccer game at stadium Azteca? I went to Oaxaca a year ago, been wanting to check out Mexico City.

I spent a week there a while ago for business. Crossed from Europe to Asia and then back daily although I never realized it. I expected the big black line to be more noticeable when you are that close to it.

Actually, you do cross water (Bosphorus strait) so it is quite noticeable. However, that’s not nearly as humorous of a story.

I would have expected the suits of armor to be different on each side. And maybe the swords and crossbows, too. But I haven't been there so that's just based on my perception of the place from movies.

Ask them about the Armenian genocide.

They really like to talk about it and discuss how it didn't happen.

I haven't been to Instanbul but ai have been to Antalya and a couple other coastal cities. Turkey is a pretty nice country in the main cities. Great food and deserts. The people were always kind and I didn't cross paths with anyone who seemed rude or negative.

My wife and I visited Istanbul about 10 years ago. Would go back in a heartbeat. Loved the city and the history associated with it.

I've only been through been through the airport on the way to Egypt, but I have friends who spent two weeks in Istanbul and they said it was pretty darn fun. More fun that Egypt actually.

Have fun if that's what you choose.
