Young could do shit in TB. He threw 11 touchdowns with 21 interceptions while completing fewer than 55% of his passes. |

comparing stats from different eras are garbage. Namath had horrid stats but is considered great because of his famous words & Super Bowl III
I hate stats, they can tell such wrong stories sometimes. |

Then all you have left is stats.
Terry won more, in less time, than Eldonk. |

Compared to his peers, in any given year Bradshaw was maybe the 4th or 5th best QB in the league.
1. Dan Fouts 2. Roger Staubach 3. Ken Anderson 4. Ken Stabler/Bert Jones (depending on the year) |

I originally qualified it as saying "over a 10 year period" but the sentence was damn near unintelligible. No QB in the history of the game has had a 10 year run with a cast as comparatively excellent as Bradshaws. As a rookie he wasn't saddled with a rebuild and he never lost any prime years to down teams. Young really only had the 1 season with the keys to that kind of juggernaut. That said, that guy was an excellent leader, an remarkably accurate passer and added an element of mobility that few have had. Young had the benefit of a great team around him, but he'd have made any team in the NFL better during his peak. His skill-set was truly remarkable. |
