What are your NFL WK 1 Overreactions?

Curious what your overreactions are to players and teams after wk1?

I'll start...

1. Chiefs are going to be deadly and Worthy finishes as the #1 rookie WR.

2. Chase gets paid, Bengals miss the playoffs.

3. Tampa wins their division.

4. Achane finishes as a top 3 RB.

5. Rodgers has a mediocre year.

That's true, but pundits were calling for ATL to make a move this year and I don't see it happening.

That's why I think he puts up big numbers, he's essentially a slot WR.

Josh Allen will have to be superman and not get hurt for that to happen. I dunno if he can sustain it, he had to go balls out to beat Arizona.

The Saints are interesting but I want to see them against a team that's not the Panthers. They've got some talent on defense and Derek Carr is a guy who can go 10-7. They're not a top contender but in that division they could be a surprise team that competes for a playoff spot. They've got a Kubiak at OC now so he should know how to use Kamara. Just thinking of teams that aren't in the playoff conversation at all who might be better than expected.

I take all this back if Dallas beats them 49-0 this weekend.

I think it was definitely more Carolina bad in their first game.

The Saints seem perennially destined to hover around .500 under Dennis Allen.

1) that Raiderhater is an inbred, hillbilly cousin f’er. <—- technically could be deemed a week 2 overreaction.

2) that after one week the MNF game thread crowned SF as the best of the NFC while playing a team that traveled coast to coast.

I guess we’ll see how it goes down.

All but #4 are pretty spot on and not overreactions.

Worthy finishing as the #1 rookie WR is at least a hot take.

The Chiefs are far and away the best team in the AFC and it’s really not close.

The Bills and Bengals look worse. We ****ed around vs the Ravens and handled them. Texans look good but their secondary is so bad that I think Mahomes could throw 400 yards on them.

The defenses in this conference just are not good enough. If our guys stay healthy we’re scoring at least 35 on these teams in the playoffs, and we all know Spags defense isn’t going to give up 30.

That would make their first two weeks a nice summary of Carr's career.
