They threw everything at us to try to win. A QB running that much has never lasted in this league.

Team didn’t even play that well and still beat a top 5 group in the league.

That’s promising.

Definitely had chances to ice this game but it is game 1 and they will get alot better as the season moves along. Just think what this offense will be when Hollywood gets back. holy shit how are teams going to cover this track team?

So Mahomes catching his own pass instead of batting it down was a MASSIVE play.

It's the perfect kind of win early in the year. Lots of stuff for coaches to yell at the players about. Mahomes and the other team leaders will be pissed. Nobody starts smelling their own farts. Still counts as a W.

Yeah, I’m not sure what he did other than run the ball well - which he has always done well. His throwing and decision making is still average at best

No doubt the offense looks miles better and I'm much more optimistic after tonight. We averaged 7 yards per play. We get Hollywood back and we'll really be cooking. But Juju and Kelce had bad drops, we just missed big plays to Pacheco and Perine and we had a couple bad false start type penalties in key situations. There's still some sloppy things to clean up in key situations.

Hell of a lot better than losing like they did last year to Detroit in a very similar type of game.

I think Lamar thought Flowers was going to stop in the soft spot of coverage but he kept running.

Henry looks to be a complete non factor in that offense. Collinsworth wouldn't shut the **** up about it but it's true, he looks pedestrian as hell when Lamar isn't under center handing it off to him.
