No, that idea is also pretty terrible.
I mean I think he's toast.

I think the better debate is Kadarious Toney.

Skyy Moore has damn near matched the entire production Ross has managed in his entire career in one game against the Chargers. The correct answer is don't keep either but Ross is infinitely more worthless than Moore.

Only scenario I can see Skyy making the team.

7 Wrs and 4 TEs (which would be stupid, but we're spitballing here)

You don't need Ross because you kept Irv Smith.

Rashee Rice has a suspension announced before cuts.

So you have your 4 TEs and no Rice, but don't need Ross because you have plenty of red zone bulk from your TE room.

Brown, Worthy, Hardman, Watson, Toney, Remigio, Moore

And even in that world, Moore is a gameday inactive who's eventually cut when Rice's suspension ends.

FIRST ROUND TALENT!!!!

(I'm sorry, I've lost track of which shitty bottom of the roster receiver I'm dumping on at the moment)

All this shit has taught me is when you draft a WR bet on traits. Even if the gy doesn't really pan out you can use his elite trait, Hardman is a good example, where when you take a guy like Skyy Moore if it doesn't work out he's useless.

Is Remigio out?
Top four WR are locked in
Rice
Brown
Worthy
Watson

You get two more out of this group
Hardman
Toney
Remigio
Ross
Washington
Moore

Best guess as of 5 August in bold. Of course, that may change in the next month depending on preseason performance.

Wonder if Veach can get anything in trade for any of these dudes...

I know you said don't keep either, but I gotta disagree. Like DJ said, Ross actually does something.

I think it’s remigio. He is the guy they wanted skyy to be. A dude who can catch a lot of short stuff and get some YAC. I think they are more married to the role skyy would play than skyy himself. I feel like hardman would be the other even though he feels a lot less necessary now that we have worthy and Hollywood.

If you can replace Moore with a UDFA and get the production you wanted that's a win...

I'm going to disagree with you on the comparison of Brown, Worthy and Hardman. Hardman has a lot more gadget and horizontal stretch to what he does, it's a role that helps the offense.

It's just his body type, he's different than the rest of the room.

He's somewhat big and can fight for jump balls.

It ain't much, but it's more than Skyy can do.

If you take anything from this season's training camp, Ross helps with red zone packages.

The Chiefs weren't very efficient in the red zone last season. Ross is 6'4" and might be able to help with that. There are at least a couple of videos of him catching touchdowns in the back corner of the end zone in the last couple of weeks.

In theory, yes. In actuality he's either too broken or too busy doing stupid shit to get himself suspended to actually accomplish anything.
