First video of Furious George v King looks like he was expecting Caliendo to help inside - so unless anyone knows the protection it could go either way. The 1v1 w/ Danna is woof. Those drills are (my opinion) stacked for the defender - a way to criticize the OL on technique, they learn from it. BUT.... King's feet. He will either grow a ton this camp, and fast, or Morris will be LT.

All of that said, I think we have an above average coaching staff, so I trust their decisions vs my watching Twitter vids (or whatever we call them these days).

Danna is a beast, it’s ok if you get beat by him

Not when you're protecting Mahomes.

Literal first day in pads. Think they’ll see what happens in the first 2 preseason games before they make that call

Sure hope so. Said it on another thread
and got blasted for it...Yeah, I get let the young guys play and develop them. But we have a three-peat on the line and Smith would provide Mahomes protection, and provide the Chiefs the chance to develop the young guys. I'm sure they'll play at some point in the season but they won't be rushed into it.

Nick Bolton absolutely demolishes the blocker in that handoff clip. Bolton is a monster at the point of attack

Was thinking about this last night, but he's kinda been the forgotten man on this defense. No one says his name anymore.

It's all Karl, Jones, McDuffy, Reid, Chenal, Tranquill etc.

It's like we just take Bolton for granted as if he's not one of our best defenders or something.

I worry about lrz speed while covering the ball. A lot of guys lose a ton of speed when securing a football

He’s extremely strong and pretty fast and agile too. Massive upgrade over the crap mlbs we always had with pioli

Tranquil has similar movement skills but he’s a huge drop off in stack / shed and play strength
