It will be an interesting season, the whole division is better. So, yeah while Denver is a much better team now than they were when last season ended... may not turn out like many of us hope. #weshallsee

Where did he flash?

At LB.

And he flashed so much that he's changing positions entirely!

He’s very physically gifted, but doesn’t seem to grasp the playbook. Therefore he moved from ILB to OLB (on a team with a lot of OLBs). Next stop special teams, and then cut.

That was against backup QB's. That isn't the case this year and Denver will not be an easy out.

Russ is a backup caliber (exaggeration a bit but definitely out of the top QB discussion) at this point if he regressed again like what's coming out of Denver non homer insiders and Seattle. Love it having a legit source in pile high

I was curious, so I looked it up. Over the last 13 games, Denver has completed 55% of their passes, with 6.4 yards per attempt, a 2.6% TD rate and a 4.3% INT rate. The average game was about 19/36, 227 yards, 1 TD and 3 INTs. If Russ doesn't outperform that, I'll be shocked.

Also, the best passer for Denver against KC by rating? Courtland Sutton.

And they won one of those with Matt Moore under center. 4 others were won by Alex Smith, including a few blowouts.

I'm not saying they will be an easy out, but that doesn't mean that KC doesn't still have the advantage. Andy flat out owns the AFC West, period. And Mahomes has lost a total of three games vs the AFC West.
