There's something about the Chiefs having a lowkey good defense that makes me uncontrollably happy.
All the ESPN heads want to naturally talk about Mahomes and the Chiefs offense. Meanwhile, Veach is constructing a death star while no one is looking. |

Thornhill is much more of a centerfielder type, he could easily be the 3rd safety as Reid and Cook are much more versatile in what they can do at this time.

That's why, as much as I liked him, was hesitant to put him on lists... A few in the draft forum but that's it. Seems like Veach has been about speed and coverage above all else. Not that Cook isn't good in coverage, he's solid, but he's a bone crusher first and foremost. Man do I love this get. No more slot receivers just galavanting through the secondary, this kid will put them on notice.

Sounds kind of like, dare I say... Sorenson replacement? Let me know if that's blasphemy either direction.

OK, the play he makes here is something Mathieu would have bailed on, and Cook takes on a big-ass Olinemen and blows the ****ing play apart.
HOLY SHIT |

I am more excited about this pick than any of the others.
Looks like I found my new crush for the upcoming season. |
