FTR he advised to sell ZOM around the 2.30 mark which is where I sold for a profit.
I think he has some good tips, especially on options, but most definitely don't blindly follow all his plays. I made a nice chunk off PLTR which was one he recommended. |

Anyone worried China might do something stupid with Taiwan and crush the market?

I'm thinking of getting a semi conductor stock but I can't go with TSM because the environment over there is so volatile. Check out the Taiwan news they are constantly at odds with China. If TSM goes down the other semi conductor stocks go up am I right?

I've owned TSM since 2019 and I think it's a great long-term buy. Their revenue growth has been very strong and the chip shortage only helps them. They have a big moat which I love. China is not killing their golden goose, I am comfortable holding for the long term. Yes it's volatile but that's just the chip market right now.

I started getting into a junior oil company (recaf) a while back when it was super cheap and they announced they locked up a huge section of ground for exploration. Their first test well just posted really good results and the stock is currently up about $1.50 just today, to around $4.30. They are getting geared up for test well #2, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't have a lot but I've gained a few thousand bucks just today on that jump alone.

I've been big into semiconductor and related stocks for the past few years and they've all been doing well for the most part. TSM has been the big star, but TXN has done very well for me, too. KLAC and STM have been strong. INTC cratered on me for a while, but it's been coming back and is still okay.

They have a cool comparison chart of what you would be looking at as far as dollars per hour after electricity costs for different processors and mining equipment. The Bitmain Antminer will get you about 20 bucks per day. Sadly, my chromebook doesn't even make the list. |

Crypto has been a big driver of demand for their cards, but their AI and datacenter chips have a ton of potential too. This semiconductor shortage has given them a big bump as well. They have few true competitors and are going to be around for a long time.
