Did not look remotely like a broken collar bone. The way he landed and the way he held his shoulder it looked like a sprained AC joint.

It can be a very painful injury but is easily medicated to allow him to keep playing.

That's what I thought too. He was grabbing inside the shoulder pads, towards his neck. Maybe a stinger or something.

Tedrics been really good so far, good enough i'd consider moving him into the 3rd safety role.

It's somewhat ironic that Dan's the topic of conversation here.

If ANYONE should have taught us the importance of not asking someone to perform beyond their ability, it's Dan Sorensen. For year's he's failed when he's been asked to do too much but has been damn good when put in a limited role.

Tedric Thompson ain't some green rookie and he's not someone who's been stuck in systems that put DBs in positions to fail. The Seahawks have as long a history as any organization in this league of getting the most out of their defensive backs and when they asked Tedric Thompson to assume even a 3rd safety role, he struggled badly.

Thompson has performed admirably in a 4th safety role with extremely limited responsibilities. Just assuming he'll be able to handle a promotion because of a few games in that role, when Sorensen has a couple years of playing the position quite well, is folly.

Dirty Dan makes a handful of plays a year that are really good.

In between, he blows coverages badly, misses tackles, takes bad angles, and generally sucks. He's literally the Niemann of the secondary.

I'd love for someone to finally take those snaps.

He struggled badly when Thomas got hurt and they asked him to takeover Thomas' centerfielder role, he was not good at that.

Niemann is frustrating. I still believe he sucks but than he makes a good play here and there. Had a fumble recovery and a sack on Lamar last night
