NFL Week 1 Sunday Games

First week of the season! The Chiefs already took care of business so it’s strictly evaluation and entertainment for Sunday.

What games are you most looking forward to? Game picks? Upsets?

McCarthy is a risk averse disaster. They had 3rd and 6 in Rams territory with all those weapons and you run a draw?

They did that 2 drives before too.

That is gutless football. Now everyone will see why Rodgers hated that guy

Adam Gase has won 30 games as a head coach. He's also lost 28 by double digits. Jets need to fire him right now and do whatever they can to salvage Darnold, although like Mayfield the damage that's already been done is probably too much to overcome.

Probably was getting rubbed down this week rather than drawing up plays.

At this point, they're probably better off waiting. They can draft Trevor Lawrence and then use the narrative that it was Gase that caused Darnold's problems to try and get a higher draft pick for him.

I'm refusing if I'm Trevor Lawrence. Even if Gase is fired today it's still years too late and the ownership has been totally complacent.

Patricia may be even worse than Gase though.

Yeah, I said something about that last night. Outside of Cleveland and Detroit, is there a worse place he could end up? If you add in the New York media, it gets even worse.

And I never even thought of the front office. The Jets might be by far the worst possible place for him to land. Maybe he pulls an Eli?

There’s a lot of really stupid people in the NFL. Just mind numbingly stupid ownership.

How the hell does Adam Gase, Matt Patricia and that frat boy in Cincinnati have HC jobs but Bieniemy does not?

Do these franchises like sucking ass?

Was just thinking the same thing. It's actually irritating.

I just read the Jets fan forum. Yikes. Feel bad for them. They have zero hope of improvement.

I'll go on record, again, and say Bienemy doesn't have a job because he doesn't really want one bad enough. He's had chances.

He's young. If he bides his time, he gets a few more Super Bowl rings and a chance to be HC right here, with Pat as his QB for a few years. Andy maybe has 5-6 years left in him. Bienemy can afford to be patient.
