To those going to the game: Please follow the Chiefs rules today.

16K in the stands sucks compared to 80K but its better than zero. Last I heard a couple of days ago, only a handful of teams in the NFL are even allowing fans in the stands.

If the announcers are spending their time on the broadcast pointing out how fans are violating the Chiefs rules it will embarrass the city and us as a fan base.

Just suck it up, follow the Chiefs rules and maybe we can get more fans in the stands in future games if we prove we can follow the rules. More fans in the stands helps our team play better, make comebacks and provide morale boosts. Just do it!

Is anybody still not wondering why the Chiefs fans were booing IMMEDIATELY AFTER A CHIEFS TOUCHDOWN.

Something doesn't add up, at all.

Understand, but it still sucks there is absolutely nowhere to escape having everything rammed down your throat every second. Just the way it is now. Like I said, dumb to boo, but I think many are just getting numb to it already.

They were very clearly booing the Texans as they headed for the tunnel before the black national anthem. Clearly booing.

That video from Jason Anderson says it all. The media is trying to make KC into a story where one doesn't exist.

Maybe they were booing the Texans because they stayed in the locker room, or they are the opposing team. That would make sense.

Irregardless, our team is out there. Every single player. Our football savior is right there in the middle. Linking arms with Andy Reid. A Chief fan should never ever be booing when our football saviors are standing in the middle on the football field.

They weren't booing, that's my whole point.

You could hear them booing when the Texans left the field before the black national anthem. It was unmistakeable.

The "booing" during the unity display was muffled and, well, sounded weird. And sure enough, that same weird "booing" happened during a PAT right after the Chiefs had scored either their first or second touchdown.

Something is fishy about the whole thing. We now have people that were there saying that there wasn't a bunch of booing.

I think they were using some artificial crowd noise in the stadium’s audio system but NBC wasn’t using fake crowd noise as part of their broadcast (as Al Michaels’ indicated).

The artificial crowd noise was apparently being tested before the game...

I wasn't there so I'm at the mercy of the broadcast sound. And as was pointed out earlier in the thread, some are triggered by my posts so I'm bowing out of this thread.

There were definitely times when the crowd noise was just odd or out of place.

Yeah, MAHOMO said they were testing it before the game. But NBC said twice in the pregame and many times during the broadcast that there was no artificial noise being used. During the pregame Liam flat out said that the Chiefs would not be using any piped-in sound.

The broadcast was nowhere near as bad as I had feared it might be, but it sounds like the media is still getting their story. And if NBC wasn't manipulating the crowd noise, then the Arrowhead staff was...maybe they were simply amplifying it through the PA system. We'll never know.
