My concern is that Mahomes will be a bit more successful version of Mathew Stafford and we'll see about as many Super Bowls as Detroit has. Neither organization seems to know how to get it done.

Reid is 0-3 against the Titans in the last three. All of them were late game failures in spectacular fashion too...one was a top 5 all-time play-off collapse of which Andy owns a dubious two as a Chiefs HC....Colts being the other.
A. Smith threw an uncharacteristic red-zone INT late in the 4th. Just a FG would have forced the Titans to score a TD. The game would have been over...then the Titans drove down to kick the game winner. It was crazy cold and AR decided to attempt to ice the kicker...who misses his first attempt but the TO negated it. Brilliant... AR decides to deactivate Pennel after a strong showing in stopping the Vikings running attack. Henry is a 240 lbs RB who has torched the Chiefs...Pennel is a run stuffer. If there was one game where you WOULDNT bench him...this was it. He, then, refuses an attempt to gain 2 yards on 2 tries to close the game out...even if they didn't make it, Titans would have less than a minute to go 80 yards with no TOs...and needing a TD. The Play-off game...Reid ignores the run game in the 2nd half...giving the Titans enough clock to stage an epic comeback....same strategy resulted in the Colts collapse. Reid's offense is entertaining to watch...but I've suspected he's a company man for a while...started after the snail-paced 4th quarter drive against NE in the Divisional round. That was the weirdest shit I have ever seen...NOBODY does that. The announcers had no idea what he was doing... His late game collapses are starting to add up....to the point his integrity comes into question. You cant coach for 20 years and be this ignorant...right? I mean, I get that...but HOW can he be so adept at drawing up plays, and yet so obtuse when it comes to such simple aspect of situational football like running the clock and when to go for it on 4th down?

Does anyone have a rationale explanation why Pennel was deactivated? Sims did a break down of the Vikings game...and Pennel was mentioned a lot. The guy is enormous. Titans only strength/hope was Henry... Whatever... |

Reid’s I am smarter than you syndrome. They will expect me to defend the run so they will go pass heavy but I will one up them.

The only logical counterpoint is that Reid is a ****ing moron. Either way, it’s lose lose for us. |

That last, improbable sequence of events covered everything....and Vegas made out like bandits. Easily $100+ million, probably more...that's a lot of money to make in under 2 minutes. It's impossible to not consider...that when there is that much money riding on a lop-sided bet...that it doesn't come into play. Casinos/betting have always been heavily tied to the NFL...and if they are in danger of losing that much on a single game, they correct it. It would be the easiest way to make money in the world because you control nearly all the mechanizations to steer a game....especially if there are HCs, owners, officials and a handful of players on the dole. It's all legal too... |

I knew one the money was all put on KC, we'd see some strange shit... ****, look how different the games have been officiated without Mahomes. We've lost several games this year, that the momentum got stopped on game changing calls.
