@barleyhop Okafor would have had another sack in team. He's giving Mitch Schwartz all he can handle today. Man, if Okafor can get back to 2017 form in terms of his pass rush, our DL is going to be ridiculously good. |

Interior Oline and LBs could be below-average but the CB position is by far the biggest area of concern. Not even close.

I expected the Dline to be the best one in the AFC West and a top 5 unit in the league before training camp and I am not expecting any less now.
Between two star players in Jones and Clark right in their prime, tons of young players potentially on the rise, a solid veteran in Okafor, a solid backup in Williams and a supposedly top coach in Daly, I dont see how this unit isn't one of the best in the league. |

I was so excited about drafting Thornhill. I’m not a big draftnik, but that was one guy I happened to research a lot pre draft. Thought he fit our needs and was gonna be available. He reminded me of Marcus Peters with how he jumped routes. But also is so damn likeable. Guy is gonna be a star, I think.

“You can really see a difference in the run defense. They are maintaining their gaps, holding then point and the LB’s are hitting the gaps. They look organized and they are putting a lot of effort into their responsibilities.”

No doubt. It's crazy to think there were some people butthurt that Sutton was fired, Houston traded, etc. I have no idea how much, if at all Houston, Ford and Berry were to blame for our overall softness, but this was the perfect year to blow it up and re-build that side of the ball. We literally have nothing to lose after finishing 31st. |
