I'm not convinced that giving up a draft pick for a WR to help us 3 peat is really selling the future that hard.

Once every decade or more this opportunity happens. Nobody has even won back to back since the early 2000's when the Pats did it.

We didn't lose our future giving a 1st round for OBJ to have him for a couple of seasons and it helped with the Superbowl.
