Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

As I have said before on several occasions, I think there is a Lamar Hunt edict that no 1st rd. Qbs are to be drafted, and each new GM is informed about it in the hiring process.

Got to have wins now! 10-6 FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!

you want to see how this plays out? watch the chiefs starting in about year 2009. traded a second round pick and threw a bunch of money at an average quarterback. 10-6 first round bounce out of the playoffs is the ceiling, and in 2017 we have the number one draft pick, a new front office and head coach again. this won't end well.

I'll laugh with ya @ not gonna happen. I'll laugh at myself a lot, but back in reality there is really no chance unless we have one of the most dominating defenses known to the NFL.
