It might be time to have a talk about Travis Kelce

He looks old and tired. I'm afraid we're seeing a very steep decline from one of the best TEs in NFL history.

Of course he’s in decline - it’s inevitable but he will be productive in key spots like last yr. As to whether it’s his last season it depends how it goes - if he’s still an asset I think he plays next yr and if I’m wrong and he’s not productive when they need him he’ll retire.

This is a solid point.

Hearing Mahomes talk about how teams are using 2 guys to try and take Kelce away makes me feel a bit better about his lack of production thus far.

It's really a shame we don't have Holywood in this offense.

What makes me worry is that we have seen slow halves but Andy gets him going in the second halves with some play tweaking. So far that hasn't been the case.

Should we be worried?
We need DeBerg to have one of those DJLN and someone else kind of post.

I think this has more to do with teams that have played the chiefs a lot scheming to take Kelce out of the game as part of their plan

He made a big play but it was called back.

He isn’t as young and agile as before but he’s going to be fine and I like that a young guy is working in behind him and learning.

We didn't use our TEs at all with the Bengals.

I believe Kelce is declining but Mahomes didn't even throw for 200 yards. Our plan was basically to run the ball.

We won so I can't complain but I think Reid is still trying to figure out our offense identity. Plus Mahomes played really bad this game.

Kelce is old, they are trying to basically save him for the important games.
