We owe Wanya Morris an apology

Didn’t realize just how bad it could be without him and boy was it bad.

Say what you want but the kid is a functional LT that is getting better. It’s hard finding average LT’s but I’d say he’s pretty damn close to average and that’s okay.

He’s the same caliber as Donovan Smith to me but he’s young and not falling apart.

Say what you want guys….getting a functional starting LT that is steady and not a bust at the end of rd 3 is an A+ draft pick.

Believe the hit rate in rd 3 is roughly 15% so getting this type of value is a big value to us.

They’re gonna have to help the tackles against Myles Garrett and TJ Watt no matter who it is playing

I can’t recall another time Andy was that direct through the press to his GM.

Sounds like Andy would welcome a signing tbh.

That was Andy’s way of not putting the kids down too hard, but admitting he’s also not a moron and can see they need help at LT.

If I’m Veach I’m unloading the cap to sign Cam Robinson in FA. The Vikings are renting him until Darrisaw gets back next year.

I love Trey but he’s a RG. We’ve made do with far less. Wanya’s natural fit is best at RG IMO. I think he’d be really solid there.

I don’t care that he’s turning 30. We’ve tried with 2 young kids and Kingsley cannot in any way be counted on.

Fix this mess Veach. Robinson also played in our offense in Jacksonville.

I just don’t know there. I don’t know if Robinson is that much of a sure thing in this offense. We’d probably be lucky if he was OBJ level.

But I get it, they need something more stable. I’d almost rather trade way up for a guy though than sign Robinson.

Which LT? Honestly which solid to above solid LT was on the FA market this past offseason? LT is a position that teams pay, especially if they have a good one.

I don’t think you guys get how much it would cost to move up far enough to get a LT. It would be two 1sts, probably a 2nd and more. Just too much.

I’d rather sign Robinson and use our draft picks to make the roster younger. With the last 2 drafts it’s key to hit on those 3 top 70 picks next year

That is like the move our RT to LT brigade.
Which is only slightly less known than the Thuney to LT brigade.

What Smith brings though is depth that this team needs. Whether he starts or is a backup he improves the roster over Kingsley at the moment.

Minnesota also might be through with Darrisaw's injuries. They could re-sign Robinson and trade Darrisaw (if he has any years left on his contract, otherwise they'll just let him walk)

I guess, just depends if they actually see Robinson as a massive upgrade that will give Mahomes comfort in his drops.

A conversation for late February.

Yesterday when I was watching Kingsley give up immediate pressure 12 plays in a row (even when getting help), I was reminded of all the hype the Chiefs organization was giving him during camp… facepalm

I don't get the love for Cam Robinson.....how much have some of you seen of him?

Jacksonville traded him for a reason...yes they have Walker Little but it's not as if that Jags O-Line will be mistaken for good.
