****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Until Mecole, I've never seen a wide receiver keep running while the ball is in the air, not accelerate or change direction or seem to adjust in any way, then reach out to his right or left and have the ball land just out of reach. It's bizarre.

Dogs do a million times better job of tracking frisbees in the air.

I'm totally fine with all the WR's being gone besides Rice next season. No need to bring anyone else back

Mecole is still getting his footing. He looks like he's getting healthy after being hurt for so long. Make no mistake, we need him. He'll come up big sooner than later.

Yes, he made some mistakes tonight but he's a resilient player. The more teams focus on Rice and Kelce the more space Mecole will have to roam. That's when he becomes a lethal weapon.

Give him a minute. Patrick kept throwing to him for good reason. Mecole is close to being his old self.

I'm actually quietly pleased by those two balls to Hardman, because it shows he still has the speed.

He's caught enough deep ones in the past I believe he'll catch the next one.

And Mahomes threw that ball 500% times better than Tua did to Tyreek. Tyreek caught it and scored. Hardman had no idea where the football even was.

I said the same at the game.

He was open for all three deep balls. One I just don't think he ever found in the lights. The other two he was held AF.

Curious to see if I'm right watching the replay tomorrow.

My god, this is the same regurgitated trash spewed every ****ing season he was here. No he isn’t, no he won’t, he simply isn’t good, and needs to go.

Looking at those snaps what I think's most encouraging is seeing how many can be replaced next year, probably for a similar cost (if you include draft picks) and with a better outcome. Just a LOT of ways this offense can get better, that's a big plus.

They can bring back Watson as a #4 or 5. He actually tries and plays ST. Other than that, none of the rest contributes anything or even plays up to their talent level while Watson exceeds his.
