In addition to the Mets and Jets in 1969, Pittsburgh did in 1979.

The Red Sox won in 2018 and the Patriots won the Super Bowl that "season", but the Super Bowl itself was in 2019, so Boston hasn't done it.

The 49ers won in 1989 and that year the World Series was also in the San Francisco Bay Area, but Oakland beat San Francisco in the "earthquake" series.
