LaPorta seems like a real hindsight pick. He wouldn't be here what he is there.

Why are you taking anything that ****ing moron says seriously?

FAU's upside is way higher than Danna's.

Mazi Smith would have been a really nice pick at the time, but man I haven't heard his name 1 time.

You're probably losing Danna and Chris, so of course you need FAU ready to contribute with Karlaftis and Omenihu next year.

We were kind of in no man's land though. Everyone we had ranked highly came off the board and we took BPA. The only guy we could regret that was taken after him that was first rd worthy was Sam La Porta
He's also not cheap for 4 more years. What's the 5th year option for a DE?I don't think it's really "cheap" is it?

The DE's he's played behind aren't exactly Nick Bosa either, ideally he'd be getting some snaps.

They're good, but in pure pass rush scenario's you'd think FAU would get more run. Hopefully going forward he does.

For some reason I thought Danna was gonna eclipse 10 sacks this year. Instead he has 6.5.

I wouldn't be mad at all if FAU performs like Danna this year. 6.5 sacks in his first year starting isn't bad. That's more than Karlaftis had last year.

He was the last pick of the 1st rd, not a top 5, 10 or even 15 pick

Posting hindsight shit after the fact and gloating about it is the definition of being a reerun.

If you gave Veach truth-serum, he’d admit the moves I posted would have been the ideal strategy this past offseason.

Meanwhile in your typical Reerunned fashion, you are trying to force the narrative that somehow FAU was a good pick when the Chiefs had other more pressing needs.

A DE whose ceiling is Eric Hicks… MAYBE two years from now… is a bad pick.

Just like you had Cornell Powell and Skyy Less in the HOF immediately after the Chiefs drafted them.

Felix was getting around 25-30% of the snaps until Omenihu came back.

Omenihu has 4.5 sacks in 8 games. Literally on pace for 9-10.

I wouldn't say Omenihu is bad by any means..

Danna is your typical solid DE that gets sacks when he's on a good DL, but never really a centerpiece or prolific rusher.

He's obviously not a 6.5 sack per year guy and we need FAU to be that atleast going forward.

The fact that our first round pick is buried on the depth chart isn't ideal, whether the guys in front of him are good, bad, ugly whatever.

Even with the benefit of hindsight, there are Reeruns who refuse to admit that Veach missed on several of his strategic decisions this past offseason.
