****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Wasn't that the same area that Buttker missed that FG he almost always makes. I'm willing to give some credence to the wind theory

Get Up just did a segment ripping the Chiefs receivers other than Rice. Orlovsky said Moore and Toney should rarely see the field. Ryan shot back with, so you're gonna play MVS more? They talked about details. Rex ended with Andy needing to close the door and rip them on the details that aren't getting done.

I can’t imagine Andy hasn’t already done that.

Skyy is trying but just doesn’t have it. And folds when he’s in his head.
Mvs doesn’t seem to care. And folds when he’s in his head.
Toney is a good guy but a head case

Our best option is to do what we did yesterday and scheme to hide them. And in the playoffs throw every trick in the book.

They're figuring things out. Less MVS, Less Moore. Have James take Moore's snaps, Watson take MVS's, Hardman take Toney's. Give Ross a chance although I expect exactly jack shit out of him.

WHACK a couple of them, then those left will get with the program.

Whack that Conner Embree first, Toney next, then Dark Sky then Nags.

........or just WHACK ALL those losers.

The offense looked almost exactly like last years on Sunday minus the **** ups by Toney and Skyy (which thankfully didn't count).

Get those two out or minimized and I think we may actually cruise to a SB

Think my preference now would be something like:

Rice starts and is a near ever-present. Mainly on the outside but mixing it up a little in the slot.

Watson would start on the outside (God help me) and get the majority of snaps.

James starts in the slot and gets the majority of snaps

MVS subs in on the outside a bit to keep guys fresh and when an additional "field stretcher" is required. Toney does the same but it largely used in a small number of designed plays for him. Hardman and Moore share snaps exclusively from the slot to keep James fresh. Hardman is given the occasional sweep/gadget play.

So really...pretty much what happened this week but more James, less Moore and Toney.

As per chiefzilla I'd also be using RBs and 12 personnel much more liberally.

Rex Ryan, "We have the greatest QB ever, talent-wise, to ever play, what the hell are we doing?".

Watched the condensed replay again and the offense looked exactly like last years minus the boneheaded shit from Skyy and Toney.

Rice looked like a better version of Juju. Kelce still looked solid for the most part, but the big difference was the RB. Clyde looked so good as a receiving back and McKinnon made a couple plays of his own.

I really hope this is our offense starting to get confidence and swagger as we enter the postseason.

There's no reason we need either of those two no shows now that Rice has stepped up if James enters the mix. We got about 300 yards passing in that game. About 290 is a good average target assuming we run a normal amount. Based on recent per game numbers Kelce, the updated Rice and the backs should be good for about 180, with about 40 of that from the backs. That leaves 110 yards or about 8 or 9 catches spread among four guys, Watson, Gray, MVS and James. I see no reason those guys can't achieve about a 2 catch average if we increase their snaps by eliminating Moore and Toney, and maybe add a bit of Ross.

Really just means James taking the 30 yards those two have provided, minus the drops. It's very acheiveable! Fix the glitch by leaving those guys off the field.
