I liked his talent coming out, but I'm not sure what to think after that year off.

He'll make the most ridiculous play, and then disappear for 3 quarters. Last thing we need is a $20M+ feast or famine guy. Dude has 8 games under 60 yards.

Also pretty sure he turns 30 next season.

Watched him a few times recently and he did not play well.

He's really weird, when Zay Jones plays he's better.

This is the kind of stupid shit you say when you have an agenda and narrative that you're pushing.
Rice has such a higher ceiling. The guy looks like Deebo Samuel as a rookie with his YAC usage. They're starting to get him the ball down the field too and he's getting open.

I think Rice's ability to break tackles for YAC and high point the ball makes him a better WR long term. He fits this offense so well

There's no way anybody can watch both of the players, look at the stats, and tell me that Flowers is significantly more talented than Rice.

Again, that's horseshit. But then again, I'm talking to the guy that called Rice a "band-aid".
Thanks twisty mctwistface. You already know you’re twisting my words on the bandaid piece but nice try. I think very highly of rice. He has made a tremendous impact with a high target share.

Rice has largely not been asked to be a wr1 yet. And that’s not his fault. That’s just how he’s being used. he still has some ways to go in terms of consistentlu beating man coverage. He will get there. Zay isn’t really being held back from much right now. And if he was in a more explosive pass offense he’d be doing even more.

I don’t back what MM is saying about rice. It was a great pick and we didn’t have to trade the moon to get him. But we don’t need to knock on zay to prove that point. He’s been a hell of a get for Baltimore

It doesn't work that way. You don't just assume your rookie WR is going to be a superstar because his play style resembles a top WR.

That's like assuming Skyy Moore is going to be Wes Welker because they both have a nice release off the LOS.

That was actually Week 3.

Now show the game where he had 1 catch for 5 yards.

Or the EIGHT games where he had 4 catches or less.

Dude has a ton of talent, but just isn't consistent.

I am saying exactly what you are. I can't see what the person you are talking too is saying because I had to turn him off until the offseason.

Funny how Flowers is apparently being held back in that offense despite clearly being their WR1, yet it's been OBJ who's had 116 yards and 97 yards in 2 of their last 3 games.

Again, you could make the argument that it's OBJ that is now their WR1.
Baltimore runs the ball a lot. When they pass the ball their qb runs the ball a lot. They almost never pass the ball in the second half because when they have any kind of lead they run the ball til they’re blue in the face. It is not an offense where any WR is gonna get a lot of volume.

It’s absolutely nuts. Zay jones unlocks Ridley and Trevor. Not even a little bit. Ridley is a totally different player when zay is out there. Zay is kinda ok, but his impact on that pass offense is huge

I'm aware that Baltimore runs the ball a lot.

But Flowers has been starting from day 1. He's still had more opportunities than Rice, yet Rice has been every bit as productive.
