****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Sure, but their production is still basically the same. That says a lot about how good Rice has been.

There's not a significant difference in actual talent/ability.

Seems a distinction in approach rather than talent.

Because Rice has never done anything but show that he's capable of being a top flight receiver in this league.

Flowers is criminally underrated now.

The Ravens spread the ball around and he isn't a focal.

But he just walked into a WR room with OBJ, Rashod Bateman, Agholor, Duvernay and it was obvious he was THAT guy.

I think it's more just different styles than it is who is better than the other.

Flowers is more elusive but he should be he's smaller, just like Rice is more physical with his size.

They'd be good compliments to each other actually.

The WR class this Spring might be the best WR class in a few years. Last years class sucked overall. This one is way better

Exactly.

I'm just so sick of watching MahomesMagic suck Flowers dick while simultaneously downplaying Rice.

He just said after the game Sunday that Rice isn't a WR1 yet, and that's fine, but here he is talking about Flowers like he's a bonafide #1 WR already.

It's horseshit.

And that is on the Chiefs because Flowers development has trended up all year because they treat him as their top guy now that Andrews is out...the Chiefs took a much slower approach with Rice.

Rice is also better than every single one of those WRs.

And if we're being completely honest, you could make the argument that OBJ has been their WR1 the last few weeks.

Knowing how Veach likes to operate after a position is weak we probably trade up fot a WR in the 1st. Sign Aiyuk and Mike Evans.

That's great, I don't think some of them are great fits here.

Odunze is the guy for me but they won't get him.

Who isn't a great fit?

Other than maybe Keon Coleman, they'd all fit pretty well in this offense.

I think Emeka Egbuka might be the guy.

Hey, a guy can dream.

Because as far as I'm concerned, he's the only FA that I believe can actually be a WR1 and isn't going to be 30+ when next season starts.

Higgins ain't it, neither is Davis. There's not really any younger top tier WR's in the class. A lot of older guys, or WR2/WR3/depth pieces.
