****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

"They need to get Rice going downfield!"....they just upped those snaps and started doing it way more in GB. The routes were designed and ran. We didn't throw him the ball. Clips have been posted all over the thread.

"Stop the cute Nagy shit!"...which is what exactly? Andy's cute shit he's done for years? There's been no cure shit since the bye. No jet sweeps, no 3rd down shotgun pass shit. In fact they've given it to Pacheco every 3rd and short.
Only cute shit they've done since the bye was the Clyde toss which actually was a perfect playcall but poorly executed.

People just bitch into the void man. The Playcalling has been very good since the bye. They just don't execute anything
So again, are we saying WRs are getting open downfield consistently and Mahomes just isn't seeing them?

Or are you making a whole narrative off a few clips?

Cause if it's Mahomes fault we arent pushing the ball downfield then I have to ask again how you think a QB like Allen or burrow would be doing in this offense. Do you think we'd be ranked higher with them instead of Mahomes? Have less losses because they'd push the ball and get it to our WRs better?

I mean it's on film. It's literally a visual fact. Accredited national NFL reporters reported this.

I know this won't change your mind because you're being you, but here's an article about it that's very clear for anyone who can read....

Reid often develops a few misdirection plays during the regular season that are not revealed until a critical moment in the postseason, the most notable being the “Shift to Rose Bowl Right Parade” play in the Chiefs’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. An educated observer could say that a few of the plays that Mahomes designed since his last game, a win over the Falcons on Dec. 27, are likely to be featured in the red zone.

Mahomes didn’t reveal any specifics of his newest plays, but Reid acknowledged that the Chiefs’ offense is expected to run the most advanced concepts within the immense playbook.
“Your base set of plays are relatively the same, but you always have a few little extra wrinkles in there,” Reid said. “You take the base fundamentals of the offense and then you work around that. You can work in some things that maybe you worked on in camp that you’ve just kind of put aside.”

People are that stupid though. They are so focused on the fact that he became a very good pro that they forget that Metcalf was a very subpar college receiver and didn't show any better resume than Hardman did. That's not even mentioning that GMs can't consistently predict success and never miss.

The "Mahomes Alone" piece they just aired on FOX NFL Sunday was both funny and telling. When THEY are willing to dog our WRs, you know we're spot-on about how badly the ****ers suck at their job.

Spags didn't blitz Gay off the edge until this play in the AFCCG. He was holding his cards.

33 drops by this receiving corps through 12 games, with 22 by the wide receivers. Holy shit.

The fact that we're 8-4 is basically a minor miracle considering that stat line.

You're just not as "smart", as some in this thread, to realize it's Mahomes' fault.
