****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

The coaching staff 100% holds stuff back and it's not even a debatable topic at this point.

Rice shows the most promise of any in a long time. We took Hardman over DK Metcalf ffs.

Last year he stuck around for the most part and the offense was lights out.

Maybe it's a coincidence but it got me thinking with Ross being the same size as Jody could he potentially fill in that role moving forward? That 6'4 guy who can create matchup problems is what I'm talking about. Jody never had great stats but his presence seemed to make an impact when you look at the offense when he's been healthy and when he hasn't. It's weird tbh.

They played vanilla up front and totally changed their pass rush strategy in the playoffs. It's ON FILM. It was document IN WRITING.

So yes, it will happen again.
I think the far better example for the sake of this thread is two of the least productive receivers last season scoring touchdowns in the Super Bowl... something they saw on tape and guarantee they don't exploit that in a regular season game had they played.

It's obvious for anyone who understands what they're watching, confirmed by player and coach interviews... obviously, they can scheme the shit out of a game and their mediocre receivers could still do mediocre things.

That's the hope. If that is true then we will run ragged over these Bills because we need this game BAD for the #1 seed.

Yeah, not much reason to hold back if there's something specific you can exploit against the Bills, given the chance of knocking them further out of the race and not worrying about playing them again... plus when you're relying on an entire defensive unit to be elite versus Mahomes and a receiver or two, the bye and less chance for injury would be nice. Granted, in terms of the current playoff field, wouldn't really be concerned with the extra game beyond that.

It's hilarious to read posts in this thread from posters who don't understand or watch the game.

"They need to go more vertical!" They most definitely are. MVS, Skyy and Watson have ****ed routes up.

"They need to get Rice going downfield!"....they just upped those snaps and started doing it way more in GB. The routes were designed and ran. We didn't throw him the ball. Clips have been posted all over the thread.

"Stop the cute Nagy shit!"...which is what exactly? Andy's cute shit he's done for years? There's been no cure shit since the bye. No jet sweeps, no 3rd down shotgun pass shit. In fact they've given it to Pacheco every 3rd and short.
Only cute shit they've done since the bye was the Clyde toss which actually was a perfect playcall but poorly executed.

People just bitch into the void man. The Playcalling has been very good since the bye. They just don't execute anything

Going vertical with MVS or Skyy Moore ain’t going vertical since they will drop it or run the wrong route anyway.

Talking about getting the less shitty WRs the ball past 5 yards.

MVS is a no show so far this year but we probably don’t win the AFCCG last year without his performance.

Skyy Moore, Orlando Scandrick, Ben Neimann, Steven Nelson, Philip Gaines, CEH, and Frank Clark are all far more hateable than MVS, IMO.

The 1 seed is an auto playoff win, a week to heal, plan, not get further injuries so if these losses are from "holding back". That is ****ing stupid...it's not, but it would be if you were right.

Also they had an extra week for the Eagles to come up with those mentioned plays...
