They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

We need to take into account the struggles with drops, turnovers, and questionable penalties that has lowered our scoring average. Mahomes picks in the past have rarely come on first downs like they are this year. We've had a few RZ fumbles, and we all know of the drops that stopped drives. When you look at the aggregate it probably a minimum of 8-9 TD's, which would push the scoring average close to 28 ppg. These drops and RZ turnovers weren't as bad in years past. Again we need to clean up the TO's, drops and penalties(legit ones) and we will be fine.

Kinda seems like the offense has been better since the bye though......I know I know points etc, but they've moved the ball pretty well the past 3 weeks. Penalties and turnovers.

Clean those up. It's the difference in 2 wins even with the group of WR's they've got.

They'd be sitting 10-2 even with all the shit.

On the WR front they let their #1 WR walk and did not add a good vet replacement.

In the draft, they used 1 2nd round picks on weapons.

So neither FA or draft were aggressively used to make us better.

If we had Rice and Downs or Scott or someone else than you can say maybe we were developing guys.

Right now it's one player in Rice worth keeping. That's not enough and it has been going on for years.

They drafted Skyy and Rice in the 2nd rd in back-to-back years. Traded a 3rd and 6th for a high potential 1st rd WR in Toney, drafted a 7th rd hit on Pacheco and spent a lot of money on a RT.

All in the last 2 years. To say they ignored the offense or WR's is false. Skyy and Toney did not work out

Well, yeah.

The issue isn't investing, it's buying the wrong stocks.

Skyy Moore showed nothing last year.

Toney was always hurt and barely got snaps when he was healthy last year.

They let JuJu walk and added a 2nd round pick at WR. The current offseason was just not good enough for adding weapons.

It is both.

Not enough investment and poor selection.

A big part of it has been running Pacheco on 3rd and short. We're converting those now and extending drives.

Yeah, they've ran the ball better than...shit this may be the best they've ran the ball since the Jamall days.

We should keep doing that

This year Pacheco has 27 rushes on 2nd/3rd/4th and 2 or less. He has converted a 1st down on 23/27 attempts. That's 85%. He's a bad ass.

I still don't understand the rotation bullshit.

Rice/Pacheco/Kelce with some Toney and the occasional Watson deep shot thrown in.

This whole "spread it around" shit is for the birds.

MVS' cap hit is 21st amongst all WRs. That's really pathetic and he shouldn't be on this team. What a terrible contract.
