****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Yeah, if he was the 5th WR or even 4th WR he would be fine.

But asking Justin Watson to perform as a #1 WR on a SB contending team is moronic.

When you have a whole lot of options at a position is when you're in trouble. For example, how many options have the Chiefs had at QB since they drafted Mahomes?

Highly unlikely. MVS, Moore and KT are almost certainly coming back. Skyy and KT for certain. Skyy will be the WR version of CEH; Veach will keep him for the full 5 years. At the end of the day, Andy is a big believer in 2nd and 3rd chances, and he probably really believes he can get those players to be successful; they just need more time. Trust the process and all that.

But Veach should burn it down except for Rice. Maybe KT, depending on how he does through however many games he plays when he returns. Otherwise, these guys should all get their walking papers, imo.

That is why I hate training camp. Fans don't understand what they are looking at and every training camp play is over scrutinized. Then we have to still wait weeks or months for a real game. Its torture.

Well, a professional NFL player said they played like crap against the Eagles. And he is in the Chiefs Ring of Honor.

I don't understand how people who claim to watch NFL football, see Mahomes crowded in the pocket, or see him literally leave the pocket to avoid the rush, and then say the tackles have played well.

And Grunny didn't just say the penalties need to stop, he talked about how they both struggle with games and stunts, and how both if Smith didn't have Thuney next to him, he would likely be much worse.

Then in another piece, he talked about how Thuney is not as dominant as he has been because he puts a lot of energy into helping Smith.

Just because Mahomes doesn't get sacked, doesn't mean the defenses aren't affecting our offense negatively with their rush.

Then, add to the fact that Reid and Nagy are seemingly opposed to running slants, or shallow crossers, or pop passes, or jet sweeps, causing Mahomes to have the ball in his hand even longer.

Not a great group.
We could have signed Hopkins and Wiley.

Not landing Hopkins may cost us a title. May of course the key word, but it's a valid point

No, you moron. Hopkins wasn’t available until May 26th. There was no guarantee they were going to release him such that he was going to be a free agent.

I realize reading is hard for you but please try to keep up with the adults.

Again, moron: is that a player dressing down another player in public as you recommended? Or is that a coach?

And in any case, you think Andy Reid should model his style after Robert Saleh? Is that what you’re implying? The Chiefs should emulate the Jets?
