I would settle for Hunter Renfrow right now…..

They don't even have to be "good." Give him the 15th best WR room instead of 32nd and he's back at 5,000 yards and 40 TD.

Is Higgins really just a jump ball guy? I haven't watched any film or anything but my impression is that he's pretty well-rounded.

They need better than that without Kelce though.

Kelce either retires or is a declining player next year.

So much this...This group of WR's has neutered Mahomes. Not even he has been able to make them serviceable.

He should be.

That's the ball he was brought here for. And it felt like most of the playcalling was designed to set up that shot play at some point. They got the look, Mahomes threw a good ball.

He just has to catch that ****ing thing. Any shrapnel he takes here is well earned. This isn't a possession receiver that was asked to haul in a deep ball. It's not a cheap rookie. This is a downfield receiver making good money who has one skill-set that he had an opportunity to demonstrate in one of the biggest possible moments and he just duffed it.

There's really no sugar coating it - it was a completely unacceptable mistake.

And handling it with class. Good for him. But he deserves all that comes his way.
