Isbel bypassing the cutoff should get him demoted. That was a bush league give up play that allows the runner to move to second.

This team looks like the 106 loss team from last year without him in the lineup. Cannot do anything.

They need to add a legit OF bat in the offseason and I expect they’ll call up Cags at some point next year, if he’s ready.

1. Garcia
2. Witt
3. Vinnie
4. Perez or legit OF bat
5. Legit OF bat or Perez
6. Cags

That’s a legit 1-6 if they can make it happen.

I do not enjoy watching Maikel batting leadoff.

Eighth or ninth, I'm perfectly fine with.

This game is over, but can we please just do something positive to make us feel like we can break out of this slump soon? Pretty please?

A good way to end this game would be charging the mound to beat the shit of Pedro Avila for drilling Bobby Witt Jr. last week.

It looks that way. If these other teams can keep losing all week and through the middle of next week, we might have a chance to win a few vs Pitt and Detroit. Maybe.

Lack of options really.

No one in the system that can fill that role and finding someone on the FA market to do would be cost prohibitive.

If they can come up with a better solution, I’m all for it. I just don’t see it.

I don't really want to play Detroit right now, they're playing much better baseball than us. It would be really deflating to have the best season we've had in a while and them pass us right at the end of the season.

How does it feel to know the Blue Jays are clearly the fifth team in the American League East with no light at the end of the tunnel?

They have a shitty farm system. Their top asset is close to free agency and they play in a division with the Yankees, the next Astros (Orioles), a Red Sox team with a strong farm system, and the always competing Rays.

You are ****ed!!!
