I'm assuming them asking to delay going to the police until they have tried to get the money back is to avoid the eventual bad publicity for them.

Excellent point.

Don't bother involving the authorities.

Just send your girl BirdLady a link to the HoCs and see what happens when you **** around with CP's Regulators.

This place can get downright savage if you start throwing rocks at the beehive.

I know the Falcons recommended, but you gotta at least do a tiny bit of your own.

I'd have been nervous the moment I was directed to a "Superfan".

With all due respect to Stevie (who himself eventually realized that the character is just a bit too much to keep up), Superfans, even the likeable ones, are a different lot.

The Falcons are located in Atlanta.

Which means the people that sent you her way...live in Atlanta.

So their judgment is IMMEDIATELY to be questioned. In part because Atlanta is a shithole full of shithole people with shithole thought processes. But in equal part because anyone who could choose to live anywhere in the country and elects to live in Atlanta shouldn't be trusted to recommend shoelaces, let alone a party organizer.

With that, I'm done poking at BRC here because I'm sure he's pretty mortified by the whole thing.

But man - **** Atlanta.

God that place sucks so hard.
