I'm on DTV Now and have been since it started, I pay $35 a month. I got a free Apple TV when I first signed up but gave that away as a gift and just use Firesticks in the rooms. Service is pretty decent, just occasional issues with buffering. Since I was an early adopter, I'm also part of their DVR trial so I have the option to record series, etc. Few hiccups there since it's in the early phases but it works pretty good overall as well. The new interface connects to streams faster but seems to buffer more often, not sure if that's just due to it not being on the same server or not since I'm using a beta client.

If Direct TV NOW is buffering from time to time, I'll definitely have to wait until that nonsense is worked out. |

I'm giving up ST this year because it plain isn't worth it. Living in CO I see the Donkeys but will see the Chiefs on the normal channels most of the time unless they're playing at the same time. I think I would have missed 3-4 games total last year without ST. That makes the few games I would of missed cost about the same as buying tickets and going to the game. Isn't worth the hassle of calling them up, threatening to leave, getting a decent deal and then fighting to get my bill right for 3-4 months.

Now, with that said, I have 3 computers, 5 TVs, and at least 10 other tablets/phones, etc. that all use my internet simultaneously. Kids are always on Netflix or YouTube, I work from home and have that connection pretty much constantly on, etc. I've got a very good router with MIMO support that pretty much keeps everything up and running well. I don't think it's a DTV problem as I also get those occasional disconnects with my work computer having a temporary pause which does notify me it's related to slow network speed. Pretty positive it's the node overloading that causes those occasional issues. |

I have Spectrum Fiber 400 down, 25 up. I have several gigabit switches throughout the house and most of the Roku's, along with X Box One Wii U, DVD players, and several computers are hard wired while the kids often watch Netflix, Nickelodeon and Disney on their iPads, while my wife is logged into her office server wirelessly and we have zero issues with throttling or stuttering. |

I'm done with DTV too.
All I have to do now for Chiefs games is show up to Dane's house with a 6 pack of Smirnoff Ice and some Swisher Sweets. Dude can't resist those. |

Last year they told me to wait until week 2 of the season because opening week was free. So that’s what I done, waited till after season started. I don’t remember how much I paid but it wasn’t full price. |

Oh I'm gonna get me hooked up this year. I'm not even gonna call em until week 4. Week 1 is the free view, week 3 I'm in KC. Figure I can do what I did when young and hit a sports bar all day during week 2(we'll see what the boss says about that one. Lol).

My contract is up on Aug. 5, so I’ll call around them and set up cancellation.
Anyone use NFL Replay, and just watch the games once they’re over? |

I will wait until I see how the new policy on disrespecting the flag and the military pans out before I give them my business

I'm trying a different approach this year. I've subscribed to the the CBS app for $6/ month and also have the Fox app installed on my Firestick. I'm also using DirecTV Now, which includes Fox. My VPN has a KC server. I'm going to turn it on for game day. I have tried that and I get the KC locals. Hopefully, that works on NFL games. We'll find out soon enough.
