Concerning the AFCW streaks, at least the KC streak is understandable, KC has been a very good team since the streak started. The OAK/LV streak is simply embarrassing. Another weird one, but in the other direction: It's been 10,060 days since Dallas has beaten Denver (1995!). |

Paydaton could win coach of the year and Russet comeback player....and KC would still sweep Denver....

Imagine thinking Mike McGlinchey is a blue-chip FA signing.
Imagine thinking that going to a run-first offense to ADMITTEDLY protect a limited QB is "exciting". |

Nowhere near as exciting as in KC. They not only won the AFCW for the 7th straight time, but they also won the SB for the second time in four years and have the best GM/HC/QB combo in football. Not only that but they are hosting the NFL Draft meaning when KC's pick is announced they will be called the defending SB Champs. While Denver won't even pick until round 3. And despite all the moves every other NFL team has made, KC is still the betting favorite to win the SB........again. But at least Payton will have cameras on him at a coaches get together.

Regardless, i have no doubt that DEN will be a better football team by mid-season. |

Denver is extremely lucky to have one of the few good RT’s in the league. 75% of the NFL, including the Chiefs, are looking for an upgrade at RT.

Go ahead and upgrade RT but it largely won't matter if you don't upgrade at QB. |

Remember when we got excited signing Eric Winston to be our RT and had to change our offense to protect our highly paid limited QB?

Thankfully having the best QB in football makes finding a RT easier. Again celebrate your RT signing considering SF couldn't wait to be rid of him.

Trent Williams’ cap hits over the next 4 years are $27M, $28M, $30M and $34M. San Fran couldn’t afford to have the highest paid LT and the 4th highest paid RT at the same time. They told McGlinchey they wanted him back but they just couldn’t afford to pay him his market value.
