*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****
IT ****ING HAPPENED
OP UPDATE: Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! Last edited by Dante84; 05-17-2017 at 09:40 AM.. |

Nonsense, absolute nonsense. No coach is going to jeopardize a playoff run by switching QB's in the absence of injury or a complete 5 game losing skid.

Out of the three QBs taken in the first round who will do the best in the first pre season game? Trubisky, Mahomes, or Watson

I watched Watson last night. He was really good. Made plays.
But there was a deep throw he made where you could tell he had to throw his entire body into it to get it there, and there was no accuracy as a result. Receiver had no chance. I saw that and I was pretty much "yup...we made the right choice." |

He had a few plays here and there. He looks like he added some mass to his frame though. Statistically he had a good night, but he had his share of errant passes and downright overthrows. |

It ain't rocket science. If Mahomes is really that good he'll play. You aren't going to figure that out from a bunch of training camp drills where there's no fear because he can't be hit.
There's no way he's going to play if Andy has any doubt about it. Doesn't matter if it's week 1 or week 10. The last thing you want to do is throw him out there then have to bench him for Smith because he just can't cut it. That's usually not a good road to go down, and how you end up like Alex Smith. |

Pastor My Homes, the hype boss, he is going straight to Derrick Johnson's head and everybody else. doesn't mean the Pastor should play this year.
But the hype boss will keep us talking |

What would DJ know about good QB play? All he's done is play with shit at the position since the day he was drafted.
I'm happy he's happy though. |

We're all going to be rolling out of bed tomorrow looking like Ron Burgundy with our boners flying proudly.
And you know what? That's just fine with me. |
