Is there anyone that can say with any reasonable certainty what their roster is going to look like two seasons from now? If you can, I'd like to see that. I'm just saying that They have the QB and now the coach. Harbaugh's been here before; he'll salvage what he can from the roster and trade/replace everyone else with quality players. It'll take some time, but eventually LAC is going to be a much tougher out than they were the last half-decade or whatever. And it appears that they'll be able to begin that process in earnest in 2025. |

Right from the start Herbert has shown he can look like a franchise QB with garbage, defensive-minded head coaches who sucked at everything. All of his excuses are stripped away now, though.

I don’t think the Chargers are out-bidding Michigan, certainly not in guaranteed money. Michigan would give the dude a 10+ year fully guaranteed contract after he just won the national title. He wants to win a Super Bowl. Almost won it against his brother many years ago.

I'm just saying, Harbaugh will figure out how to put a quality team on the field. And that LAC will be a better team starting next season. Better than what they've been during the Brandon Staley debacle. I think we can count on that. Then after that, it's just how will it take to get LAC to be competitive with the Chiefs. 2 years? 3? Sooner or later, he's going to make them competitive. Assuming he can "fix" Herbert, of course. I am assuming that he can fix Herbert. If he can't, never mind. |

I guarantee the Chargers go out and sign a FA RB like Jacobs or Barkley.
Ekeler is washed, and Harbaugh needs a great running game for his offense. |
