Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

We should have drafted Watson

We gave up way too much

He come from Tech so he will never be good

He didn't win in college against big teams

Smith isn't going anywhere

He would have been there at 27

He is going to have to sit for 87 years before he his even ready to hold a clip board

It's exactly like the child you tell to start getting ready for bed and they throw a huge fit and start making excuses for everything..but in the end it doesn't matter because they are going to bed no matter what..all the excuses and anger and desperation can come out but they are ****ed no matter what they do

Dorsey and Reid have done a great job regarding putting the best player available at the QB position.

Carson Palmer for one.

They could have gotten through 2013 and 14 with Jason Campbell or Fitz or even Chase Daniel and not had much difference in the outcome. Maybe 1-2 fewer wins in those years, but who gives a shit about that?

If the best player available at QB costs a lot and has a ceiling of "not ****ing up enough to make the playoffs if his D and running game and ST are really good" don't pay for him.

From a business standpoint, the trade was a great one. The front office was dealing with a black out and was forced into cleaning house by the kingdom. They had to right the ship.

From a fan who's not expecting a ton, it was also a good one. We've averaged 10-11 wins a season from 2013-2016. Playoff berths 3 out of 4 years. We're generally in every game. It's certainly a better product on the field following the Pioli years.

If you're expecting postseason success and Super Bowls, it was never a good trade.

LMFAO....

2 years...

The last shred of hope that you have to hang on to...

You might as well just go ahead and leave. Smith is as good as ****ing gone.

I think it's truly time for another banner to fly.

The Chiefs answered the bell, and should be properly shown the praise they deserve.
