They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Seems like the Chiefs made their minds up they wouldn't pay CJ what he wanted at all this off season so I don't see how his contract stuff would have affected how active we could have been. I mean Hopkins signed for basically the same money we're paying MVS (well he's making 3mil more a year). It's not like we would have needed to break the bank and kill our cap to sign him.

Huh? There was no one open on that play other than maybe McKinnon but he wasn't going to pick up 14 yards anyway

I just don't think Reid values the position that highly. And winning the SB last year as we did only further cemented that belief.

He's got some Belichek in him that way. I believe that Reid believes that so long as he has his QB and his system, everything else is ancillary to the overall machine. And when you have Mahomes, that's not exactly faulty thinking.

But that also lends itself to last season and this season to where we went from high-flying, score at will offensive production to everything looking difficult. And so we get the ups and downs and games like yesterday.

I agree overall but Skyy has to catch that football. It was a perfect ball to an open receiver. If Moore can’t be trusted to make that catch he shouldn’t be on the field.

The Kelce interception, however, really has no defense.

I don't understand why Andy didn't call crossers? The Broncos played that 2 LB drop/3 deep as their base a ton on 2nd/3rd down.

Call a play to have them follow Kelce and get the ball to Rice, MVS or Hardman for YAC.

Granted they did do that once on the Rice long YAC play....so why not do it again??

Good example here. Skyy gets wide open and Mahomes bails the pocket and completely ignores him. I've seen this happen with MVS as well.

At a certain point the finger needs to be pointed at Patrick for things too bc the nextgen separation stats are seen on tape.

We used to abuse people on crossword man. Rice looks like he could get crazy YAC on them if we ran them and targeted him more. Yeah I don't get why it seems like some elements of our great offenses have just disappeared.

I'll admit it. I had a couple 'Throw the ****ing ball, Brodie!' moments yesterday. Either get him into a shrink or figure out how he is processing things. He isn't throwing to the open receiver, he is holding on to the ball for too long. Yesterday his spatial awareness seemed off. Either it was the drugs he was on for his illness, or something else unknown to us regular folk.

Why is this such a mystery? He doesn't fully trust anyone not named Kelce.

It's not his problem if the receiver doesnt catch the football. That's the FO's problem for sticking with these WRs. It becomes Mahomes' problem if he refuses to throw to wide the **** open receivers because "he doesn't trust them."

He doesn't trust them so even when they're open he's iffy.
