Well gee, Veach rolled the dice on rebuilding the OL and it worked pretty much perfectly.

He rolled the dice on the WR, and it didn't.

Yes, he potentially could have made the choice to have a high paid WR, but it is all trade offs.

I'm with you that it seems like Mahomes should be able to do okay with a bunch of JAGs plus Kelce, if that is what KC has.

Two losses on the year now where incredibly poor WR play was the primary factor in us losing. The Detroit game you could've written off as a fluke, but halfway through the season against an incredibly poor defensive unit you just can't. Don't know if there's a sensible move to be made now, though. Day couldn't have gone much worse for us if we were interested in one of the big fish in the pond.

If Skyy Moore merely sucked, he may have caught that pass today. He never had a prayer, he looked like a child.

He should not be playing professional football.

This is a bad WR corps, straight up. The Toney experiment is failing, Moore is a bust, MVS is little more than a clear out guy. I'm excited about Rice (once he figures out the drops issue), but probably a bottom-3 WR room in the league. Veach needs to alter course before he Rodgers Mahomes - WR seems to be his blind spot, and he needs to figure out how to address that.

The team liked this WR group going into the season and bet heavily on them. IIWII

Today was just a flat out embarrassment man. OL got beat, Mahomes struggled, Chris Jones didn't even play today as far as I saw, Reid got beat, Sneed got beat.

Mahomes got sacked by his own tackle. That was the piece de resistance'

True but that maybe due to the early season suckage including the Miami massacre. I think they are better than 30th
