They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Most studies will suggest that red zone efficiency isn't projectable. It's pretty erratic. In other words, its not a repeatable skill (and typically isn't a permanent flaw).

It'll typically work out roughly on par with the caliber of your offense as a whole. Teams that move the ball well between the 20s will typically have good red zone performances by season's end. And vice versa.

It doesn't always work out that way but it's usually a small N fluke more than anything and you'll see teams come out the following year with similar personnel that suddenly show some massive swing (good or bad) in the red zone and it really doesn't mean anything.

I just don't worry a lot about it. It'll work out in the wash.

This is also the product of the "draft and develop" thing when you aren't gonna keep around and pay some of your guys.

You probably won't start out the year in full throttle as new guys are gonna have to be implemented.

Who is this boogeyman you are scared of? Just say it bc you seem frightened of some team that we can't match up with bc of performance.

Here's reality: we have a top 5 defense, a top 10 OL, HOF coach, HOF TE, HOF QB, good RB and capable receivers. Yes Skyy sucks but Rice looks like the real deal.

No team is perfect, but you need to understand something and understand it well...stop being scared of the boogeyman because we are the ****ing boogeyman.

Looking forward to the absolute ****ing meltdown in here after watching Mahomes go for 259 and 2/1 against the Raiders the next time we play them and still win by 14+.

I have already said we are the best team in the NFL and should win the SB.

I just don't want us to be playing so much Skyy Moore, Noah Gray, etc in a must-win playoff game where all it takes is one hot team to send us home.

2022 yards per play: 6.3
2023 yards per play: 6.0

I'll bet that number keeps climbing and surpasses 2022.

Last year KC was dealing with a postseason WR corps of JJSS, MVS, Toney, Moore, Watson, and Kemp. And in the AFCC, they were down to Moore, MVS and Kemp.

How is Rice/Hardman/MVS/Toney/Watson/Moore/Ross not better than that group? Assuming that Rice continues to get more targets.

It’s always going to potentially take one hot team to send us home, regardless of whether Skyy Moore and Noah Gray are on the field. That’s how the NFL and all sports work.

I’m glad the team is the favorite to win the SB this year while not having mortgaged any meaningful amount of their future in trying to make themselves EVEN MORE of a favorite to win the SB this year.

Win, lose, or draw, Veach has absolutely killed the team-building and we’re set up to continue to be the favorites each of the next few years to win a SB.

Do you think if they add a WR for less than a 5 million dollar cap hit they "mortgaged the future"?

I think if you had your way and traded a 2 for half a season of Hollywood Brown, that would be taking some step in the direction of mortgaging the future, yes.

So did we "lose our future" when we drafted Skyy Moore?

And if we are going to play this game I would want a draft pick, say a 4th round back if we gave up a 2.

So get back a 4th and a comp pick for a 2nd and a guy who would be the #1WR here for a SB run.

Oh, now you’ve moved the goalposts from what you were saying before. It’s not even worth having this discussion with you.
