After watching that, I would gladly take him over Skyy and Toney at the back of the WR room... IF he clears medicals. Big IF.

I don't think he hinders the development of Worthy at all, as they'd be playing different spots.

I don't think he hinders the development of Rice at all, because Rice would be starting over him, and he'd only fill in when Rice needs a breather. It also helps us in case Rice gets suspended.

I don't think it hinders Brown at all, because Brown would be starting over him and they are used differently.

He might take time away from Watson, which, okay, whatever.

Agreed, slow, but relatively sure handed. And there's a history of chemistry with Mahomes and familiarity with the offense.

Again, whatever you're seeing in that video, he's not even at that level anymore. So, how much worse is he now that NE would cut him over the trash heap of WRs they have in the room? Especially with a rookie QB that could use those 'sure hands'? Right now, there's at least 4-5 WRs in NE that they think are significantly better in every respect than JJSS.

At this point would be a bit surprised if JJSS or MVS is not on our roster at some point this season. I think the staff has shown they want familiarity with the system...especially at receiver.
