On a related note, you should be contractually obligated to state the first name of the player anytime you’re discussing a Brown, Jones, Smith, Johnson, etc.

Well.....we all can see one likely wasn't a 2nd round talent, and they should always be in the market of adding talent.

Where they were picked at this point isn't really relevant anymore as we've got evidence of them as an NFL player. One is looking really nice so far, one is hit and miss but can't seem to play a game without an injury and the other looks.....pretty average at best.

I think they are gonna roll with that they have. Just a gut feeling. Toney was really cheap for his value last year and I don't see a deal like that floating around.

Feels like the Cards would want more than we would give up for Hollywood Brown.

Mecole seems like the best option but Toney has pretty much taken the gadget role.

You've lost Watson and James and unless they're thinking Ross is gonna get a big snap increase (he should) they need to make some kind of move.

if there’s anything we’ve learned about veach, he is always aggressive midseason. And Reid is not afraid to play new guys but he also isnt going to play them if they don’t think they’d help. Wouldn’t shock me if we made a move but it was a cheap high risk high reward type deal.

If we were to trade for Hopkins, how would his contract work here?

James on IR for at least 4 weeks for an MCL.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profoo...njured-reserve

Watson probs going on IR for his dislocated elbow.

I can see them making a move before the trade deadline.

His cap hit would be very manageable this year. The issue is next year they would have to cut MVS.

Keep Hopkins away from here. Every team he plays for ends up being a disaster.

What about a guy like Rondale Moore? He’d be a cheap, talented underachiever with 1.5 years of cheap control left on his contract.

We’re just a SB contender.

No need to give our Generational QB 2 weapons. Give him one and hope a draft pick develops even though they aren’t getting large snap counts this late into the season.

Toney is not as good as Mecole in that role, at least not yet anyway. The coaches talk about Toney's immense talent, so with Mecole they are free to use Toney more down field. Plus, Mecole can also return kicks / punts. Just how I see it.
