They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Brown, Jeudy and Sutton are significantly better than anyone else on that list. Yes in a ****ing heartbeat. I dont think id give a 3rd for Jeudy, though

Supposedly Jeudy would fetch a 1st but there are character and effort concerns as of late

Why is Arizona letting go of Brown for a 4 or 5 when they’d get a 3 as a comp pick?

Why would the Broncos give up on Sutton for a 5 or 6?

We also have Skyy Moore. I realize many don’t feel like he counts, but the Chiefs don’t go into trade talks feeling as if he doesn’t exist.

My apologies - Skyy is so invisible I completely forget about him

Also this was a compilation of multiple articles on the subject - but wouldn't the Comp Pick be for 2025 and not 2024?

Sutton is 28 hasn't returned to his form before the ACL injury

Yes, but typically a draft pick the next season is discounted by at most a round.

So why would a team like the Cardinals who are in no rush to rebuild prefer a 4 in 2024 rather than a 3 in 2025 after they traded a 1 for the guy 18 months ago?

He goes for at worst a 3 or he doesn’t go at all.

Dunno - everything I read was the Cardinals were interested in selling and rebuilding in the draft - of course they would ask for maximum value but if they are collecting draft picks for 2024 and shedding salary for this year....

I mean, he is certainly still effective running routes. Both the eye test and stats back that up.

But yes, the injuries have made him look mortal. And maybe it's just that I'm focusing on him more, but it just looks different this year to me.

Hopefully he proves me wrong and plays at a pro bowl level 5+ years...

I'd imagine they'd be more interested in a guy that has some value beyond this year, or one they can get cheaper because he's a rental.

They could send the Titans a 6th rounder for Hopkins and he wouldn't really cost much dollar wise to the Chiefs.

When the problem is familiarity with the offense and the QB, I fail to see how adding an underachiever midseason who also doesn't know the offense, terminology, or QB is the answer.
