He's no Clyde Edwards-Helaire ... and that's good for Denver.

Running back A:
Played in 23 games last 2 years, avg. 4.4 ypc, totaled 1750 all purpose yards, scored 11 TD's. Running back B: Played in 31 games last 2 years, avg. 4.5 ypc, totaled 2250 all purpose yards, scored 19 TD's. Is one demonstrably better than the other? Or could it just be the additional 8 games that B played in?? Oh, and Running Back A has lost 2 fumbles in the last 2 seasons while Running Back B has lost 7. Just some food for thought . . . . . . Teams encouraged KC to run on them because they were afraid of getting beat over the top by Hill. It was the exact opposite for Denver, teams would load the box against us because they knew our QB's couldn't consistently beat them. Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams should see their ypc shoot up this year now that they'll have the best deep ball thrower in the NFL on their team. I was listening to Sirius a little while ago and they were talking about Seattle and their needs but stated that Russel Wilson is the most sacked QB over the last 10 years and has like 30 more sacks than Matt Ryan.
I'm sure things will be different now. |
