They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Ross had 10 snaps last night which was 14% of the offensive snaps. That's the 2nd most outside of the Bears game where he played 29 snaps. Just had a shitty QB playing with him then.

Doesn't count. McKinnon had too many TDs and Megatron told me that doesn't count.

You’re saying Higgins and St. Brown “cost” those 2nd-4th round picks as if we didn’t go in on those guys because we didn’t want to give up that draft capital. Whereas the reality is the draft is a projection and there are a lot more WRs in those drafts that went in the same pick range that people would be bitching about right now because they turned into Skyy Moore.

They're saving Ross. They don't want any tape of him making plays in the RZ before we play Miami/Philly/Buffalo.

The dude is going to body every corner on those teams. The Eagles in particular give us passing TD like M&Ms.

Ross is the secret weapon.

I love how people that aren't even draftubators talk about the draft in hindsight. Like it's just so easy to get an Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 4th

I think it's debatable which is a bigger issue right now. The play of Mahomes or the play of our wide receivers.

Against the Broncos and against the Jets, I would say Mahomes shoulders more of the blame for the stagnant offensive performances.

Against the Lions, obviously, our receivers were awful (and the whole reason this thread exists in the first place).

I think a few things…

Our offense last year was awesome. I also believe rashee (which means twofold for a proven WR1) and the things he can do that none of our WRs could last year is proof that last years offense was far from their ceiling.

I believe defenses this year are better and more prepared against our offensive approach. It isn’t just us dealing with offense regression.

And I believe a large part of why last year worked is the astronomical impact kelce plays in this offense and going into 34, I believed this should be addressed sooner vs later

We addressed an entire wr depth chart last year without spending a lot of money or picks. I think we were way more content with hardman, DRob and Pringle than we should have been. Although I love the idea of having an x/y you need quality depth too. And I believe that effort was more a lack of trying because we were content vs. not having resources.

Who ****ing cares if the offense has hit its ceiling if you win a SB?

And who is say that Rice doesn’t continue to improve, the offense finds some rhythm, and we win a SB with the 10th ranked offense and 7th ranked defense?

You’re pigeon-holing what this team needs to be based on your narrow view of the WR room. There are plenty of ways for this team to succeed versus the 2018 squad you envy that couldn’t accomplish anything without Mahomes going nuclear.

We are right there with a team that is selling assets and a team that has a rookie QB banged up half the time but below the Bears who are going to be looking for a new QB.

We were 6th in DVOA going into the game against Denver. I'm sure we will drop after last night's performance, but it will be interesting to see. We moved the ball mostly fine and put up 389 yards of offense. Critical errors in the red zone and on 3rd down made for an ugly box score.

Sure. I agree. I didn't say I knew those guys were sure things. Just think it's disingenuous acting like getting that type of player next to Tyreek would have meant sacrificing a good defense or O-line etc.
