Yep, holding it too much and trying to force it to Kelce instead of just throwing to open guys. One of those drives against the Vikings without Kelce looked pretty good. Mahomes had no choice at that point other than to just throw the ball to whoever was available instead of locking onto Travis.

Idk. I also don't know how they'd have done against this year's DEN team, and are we talking about this DEN team? The one that is the 29th worst passing defense in the league? The defense that's given up no less than a league-worst 181 points this season?

Or can we just compare them when DEN actually had a top-5 defense?

but you know what I can do, I can look up what the other WRs did on the other 4 teams that beat DEN and compare their counterparts.

Mahomes has had "bad" stretches during his career with far more talent at his disposal than he hasn right now.

He also had a season high in passing yards tonight, FWIW.

He doesn't look exactly on point, but he's still playing at a very high level.

MVS seems to have no instincts. I bet if we just had Robinson back and let him run every route MVS ran Robinson would have some huge plays. (Not advocating for him). Last week MVS had an entire end zone to keep running to but instead he basically stopped and Mahomes zinged out the back of the end zone.

Would be a pretty big banner if you were calling to sack our WRs. You would need 2 planes just for Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Mahomes threw for over 300 yards. Before tonight the Broncos allowed 263yd/game of passing.

So?

Patrick deserves some blame. He's holding on to the ball too long and missing open players. Still playing at a high level none the less but even Kelce pointed to a wide open CEH tonight. Also at times he's rolling out of the pocket too soon.

There is much to learn from this game and improve on.

Would people still be bitching if we were converting in the redzone? I assume the answer is yes, because CP, but I imagine it wouldn't be as loud.

Best time to learn is during September and October. Get things rolling in November and December. Win playoff games in January and Super Bowls in February.

Mahomes would probably be the first one to tell you that he has things to improve on.
